This organ is built from samples from two similar Cavaillé-Coll organs in France, to the specification of one of our long standing users. The ranks have been carefully selected to provide the best all around experience of the Cavaillé-Coll sound.
The specification of this virtual instrument takes it's inspiration mainly from the Caen organ (although not the samples), but has some additional stops and features not found on that instrument.
We are extremely grateful to two French organ scholars, who worked very hard and long hours to help us create, produce and test this sample set. Without their patience and hard work at often unsociable hours, this organ would never have been possible! Merci Beaucoup Alain & Pierre !!
We have agreed to donate a share of the proceeds from this organ to the two respective organ scholars, who performed this sampling, to assist with their continued education.

This software is no longer automatically available free to organists under 21 in current formal organ tuition. We are still prepared to consider genuine applications for free or discounted software from young organists under tuition on a case by case basis. Evidence of tuition / age is mandatory to apply for these concessions.
We reserve the right to refuse concessionary discounts. Unfortunately we hav\e temporarily had to withdraw this automatic facility to young organists due to a number of people recently attempting to abuse this unique and generous scheme.
